Catching up aka taking out the Recyclables !

Well it has been a minute. Things got busy with summer and such and are slowly settling down as the leaves start to turn and the nights get longer. I have been foraging a bit and squirreling away a nice group of bottle for an upcoming vacation, bottle share and many wonderful nights of sipping in the future. I figured in order to catch up Id share some pictures...

Some wonderful Prairie selections.

Nice straggler in the cellar from our Montreal trip.

One brewery Im slacking on and this beer made me realize how much more I need to seek out their hop juice, and maybe a Great someday !

Another top notch Oxbow offering!

Im a big Allagash fan but Id take this over Curieux anyday of the week.

Don't sleep on these August Schell Noble Star berliners !

Serious little rooftop bottle share.

Wow this was an experience 19.39% barrel aged quintupel from Avery !

Newest Crooked Stave releases have been tasting delicious...

LL'Brett D'Or Grand Cru

L'Brett d'CHerry

Blackberry Dark Origins

Raspberry Origins

Delicious Hill Farmstead offering...

Allagash Belfius
Delcious blend of spontaneous ferments mixed with the new saison offering ! Quite delicious just wish it was in a 750ml considering the cost.

Don't sleep on Loverbeer, especially this recent version of BeerBera Riserva '12
Valter had mentioned this beer when I chatted with him at the OEC event a couple months back. So stoked I remember to seek out a few bottles.

Catching up on some unsipped Russian River selections.

A few friends a few bottles... Mikkeller Hues was worth sipping !
Block 15 Snozzberry and Free Will Napoleon Reserve not so much...
not to overshadow the delicious new Borgo offering Prunus !

Jumped on the bottling line at Oxbow one weeknight and left with some juicy Freestyle No.26 (East Coast IPA) and their newest bottled offering La Griseta

Really nice crushable rustic Grisette offering from Oxbow.
Foggy grain, tart acidity and clean morning dew finish !

Love me some barreled Hair of the Dog and Cherry Adam from the Wood was no exception.

A Omnipollo Stillwater collaboration that 12% imports didn't send to Maine. A nice DIPA fermented with brettanomyces... holly flavor bomb !

Getting caught up on fruit addition research by covering my Almanac Brewing bases.

The rooftop bottle share weather is winding down...

Firseton Walker does not make a bad beer.. that's why I search out everything they brew.

Why no one in Maine distributes them is a troubling question I ask myself weekly.

Keeping tabs on the leftcoast hop offerings.

Was pretty stoked I opened this on my own, usually I reserve 750ml's for sharing with at least one person but something told me I would be ok with this one on my own and I was right !

This was a good reason to flex some teku muscles.
Firestone Walker / Three Floyds
Ol Leghorn

American style barleywine with lots of hoppy goodness !

Logsdon Straff Drieling

Draai Laag Haviken

An interesting brettanomyces kissed old ale out of Pennsylvania. Had some nice complexity and was pleasantly surprised with this one !

Sometimes you have to head over other peoples houses for the bottle shares...

Newmarket Sipping !

Eliot Maine bottle shares !

And a final football tasting with JBPortland !

Ok you have been updated... and some nickel forager has been making a killing on ransacking our recycle bins.
